Product Updates

This module allows us to complete various updates for multiple products at once.

How to Complete a Product Update

  • Select the Product Updates module

  • The screen displayed below will appear

  • Enter a name (description) for your product update

  • You can then select a product update from the drop-down list depending on what updates you wish to perform

  • Update advice messages for products

  • Update alert messages for products
    • Update category information for products
    • Update ordering information for products
    • Update pack size information for products
    • Update status information for your products
    • Update stock levels for products

  • Once you have selected your product update click StaffRoleConfig.png

  • You will then be brought into the advanced search page, allowing you to search for products using filters

  • To add a filter to your search click StaffRoleConfig.png

  • Once all the filters you wish to apply to your search have been selected, click StaffRoleConfig.png

  • Note: you can click the StaffRoleConfig.png button to remove any filter from your search

  • To clear all filters from your search click StaffRoleConfig.png

  • Retail 365 also allows you to create your own personalized filter by combining various filters and save them as a new filter

  • To do this, select the filters you wish to use and click StaffRoleConfig.png

  • You will then be asked to enter the filter name and your new filter will now be saved

  • When searching for this in the future, click StaffRoleConfig.png and enter the filter name

  • Once you filter(s) have been selected click the button

  • A list of products that equate with the search criteria you have entered will now appear

  • The StaffRoleConfig.png button simply allows you to hide the filters you have applied from being viewed on the page

  • The StaffRoleConfig.png button allows you to print the displayed list

  • The StaffRoleConfig.png button outputs all the products in the list into a CSV file which with certain alterations and amendments can then be imported back into the system

  • The StaffRoleConfig.png button decides what fields are displayed on the list that appears. To change the displayed fields click this button and select the fields from the list that appears and click save changes

  • Note: you can search any specific products in the list using the search bar

  • You now have two options

    • At the bottom of the screen you can click StaffRoleConfig.png which will add all the products returned from your search to your update product update

    • You can also tick the boxes beside the products you wish to add and then click StaffRoleConfig.png at the bottom of the screen

  • Once all the products you wish to update have been selected click the StaffRoleConfig.png button

  • You will now be brought to a page allowing you to update information relating to your chosen product update for your selected products.

How To Save a Product Update

Once you have have entered a description, a task and click the StaffRoleConfig.png button, your product update will be saved automatically. You can resume your product update at any time.

How to Resume previously Saved Product Update

  • You can resume a previously started Product update by clicking "Click here to resume a previously saved multi-product update session"

  • From here you can add, edit and delete a saved product update

  • You can edit a saved product update by clicking StaffRoleConfig.png this will allow you to add more products, applying the update, adding advice or removing advice

  • To delete a saved product update, click the red bin icon StaffRoleConfig.png

  • And confirm by clicking 'Yes, Delete this item!'

  • You can add a new product update by clicking StaffRoleConfig.png

  • This will bring you back to the product update main page to create a new update.
