Product Links

This module allow you to set up Linked Products e.g. products that have the same molecule and strength to help you ensure you are dispensing your preferred brand.

If you have used Touchstore Rx before, you may be familiar with Product Links.

In Rx 365 you can set up Product Links in the Product Links module.

For an existing Product Link group you will see the following information:

• Preferred Brand
  • This will show you the name of the Product you have set as your Preferred Brand for this group of Product Links. e.g. ABILIFY 10MG TABS
• Pack Size
  • This will show you the Pack Size for the group of Product Links. e.g. "56TABS"
• Strength
  • This will show you the Strength for the group of Product Links. e.g. "10MG"
• ATC Code
  • This will show you the ATC Code for the group of Product Links. e.g. N05AX12
• Generic Name
  • This will show you the Generic Name for the group of Product Links. e.g. "ARIPIPRAZOLE"
• No. Products
  • This will show you how many products are set up within this Product Links group.
• Created
  • This will show you the date when the Product Links group was created.

Creating new Product Links

To create a new Product Link,

• To create a New Product Link Set select the create a new Product Link button located on the top left of the screen.

• Enter in the preferred brand that you want dispensed first and select continue

• All products that have the same strength pack size and ATC code will appear.

• Add products one by one by selecting the button located next to that product and selecting the 'Add' button.
• Alternatively selecting the button next to QTY to select all available products and add them using the 'Add' button.

• The linked product's position can be changed up and/or down by selecting the product and selecting move up or move down.
• Using the Up or Down you can change the Preferred Brand, Second Choice, Third Choice

• To ensure the product is displayed, select the Display button located at the end of each product.
• Alternatively to display all products select the Display link On button located at the top of the page. You may only want to display the top three options of preferred brands etc.

• To save the Product links, select the Save Product Links Button located at the bottom of the page.

Editing/deleting existing Product Links

Product links can be edited doing the following

• To edit a product link to see the products attached to the preferred brand press the pencil edit button on the right of the product.

Note Please ensure that any chnages that are made to an existing Product link are saved using the 'Save Product Links' button

To delete a Part of a Product Link,

• To delete one product that is linked to the preferred brand edit the product link, tick the linked product and press delete product link.

Delete Full Product Link

• To delete the full product link press the delete button on the right of the product.

Searching the list of existing Product Links

If you have a number of Product Links set up and you want to quickly find a product group you can use the "Filter the list..." option at the top of the Product Links module.

Here you can type in text for one of the following fields to search for a match against any of them:

• Preferred Brand
• Pack Size
• Strength
• ATC Code
• Generic Name

E.g. if you have ABILIFY 10MG TABS set up as your Preferred Brand, it will have a Strength of "10MG", an ATC Code of N05AX12, a Generic Name of ARIPIPRAZOLE and a Pack Size of "56TABS".

If you were to type in "ABILIF" it would find this product group based on the Preferred Brand. If you were to type in "ARIPIPRAZOLE" it would find this product group based on the Generic Name, etc...
